My name is Emma – a film geek and lover of good food. Film and Food began its life as Oscar Club way back in September 2010 with a fun little film project. I started out by watching all the Best Picture winners from 1927 to today and I can’t seem to stop watching movies.
By day I work as a freelance copywriter slash professional blogger and by night I’m either blogging my little heart out or watching great films to pop on the old blog. I love to bake, cook for my two awesome kids (who sometimes like what I cook) and eat incredible food from the amazing restaurants and cafes in my local town.

I’m very happy to have stumbled across your blog. I and some friends have a similar project, although we have added the Golden Globe winners as well as the Palme D’Or winners. A massive project! How long did it take you to watch all the Oscars?
We are up to Gone With the Wind and this is the first one during which we will share a meal.
It is so long and going to be hard to get through.
Pretty sure we will use most of your food suggestions.
